The week after USMA graduation, the town was pretty quiet, and Sushi King was almost deserted. Obviously family-run, the menu is pretty cheap and a combo of Korean and Japanese. I oredered the blogging and dragon roll (soft shell crab), and it was worth the wait while the father constructed it. Both came at the same time, and it was a good thing I was hungry as it was the biggest roll I had ever seen (per picture). I ate almost all of it, as it was delicious: steak was tender and well marinated, and crab was crunchy despite likely previously frozen. Using the restroom was an adventure, in the basem*nt and very small and, well, very unique. Worth the visit! Sink at top of the stairs. Service may be slow due to the many carry-out orders, but that just tells you how popular they are with the locals. If you order a drink, go for something that is popular. I think my Kirin was a bit spunky, and they have coolers full of unusual drinks that may have been there for a while. Just sayin'. I would go back.

My husband and I have been here a few times now! We enjoy it very very much! The food is great and all fresh! The staff is nice and helpful!! We will definitely be back soon!

The atmosphere is a cut above for the neighborhood; a place you might actually sit at the bar and have a co*cktail. Big saltwater fish tank and expansive interior. The sushi is fresh, tasty and in tastefully polite portions. It takes a long time to get to the table; sip your miso. Chinese dishes come out with a fillip of decoration, in a pineapple shell or nicely garnished. The hostess is friendly.
