Self-Discharge:The dormant / self discharge characteristics of Pale Blue batteries are very low. This is one of the advantages of a lithium ion battery with a control circuit, vs an alkaline or NiMh battery, where the cell discharges directly into the circuit (no control circuit). The battery life in dormant mode depends partly on the environment. High ambient temperatures, and higher humidity, increases the internal drain. But in normal circ*mstances a battery installed in a device, like a door lock, will last ~12 months.

A sustainable option
Happy with this purchase. Ecstatic that this kind of option is available to us now as the sustainability of these batteries is the main reason I purchased them. I do think Pale Blue should have their own battery recycling program however and hope that you will move in that direction.

So far so good
I have been using my PaleBlues for a few months now and they are performing great. I have only had to recharge one of the twelve I have used. I like them so much I have already received my second order. I had to get more AAs, it is surprising how many places I use them.
Don’t let the four star rating worry you, it is only because I have not been using them long enough to know if they are going to last as long as they say.

I have 2 strings of outdoor mini lights. They are solar powered and quit. I replaced the batteries with Pale Blue AA Batteries. They are now brighter than ever before and run longer nights when there has been little sun during the day.
